Guangsha Holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guangsha Holding”) is a large modern enterprise group established and developed under the opportunity of reform and opening up policy in China. The company has three direct subsidiary groups in aspects of construction, real estate and energy and regional groups like Shanghai Mingkai. It is mainly engaged in the businesses of construction, real estate, energy, finance, manufacture, education, health care, media, hotel, tourism, etc.. Its subsidiary Zhejiang Guangsha Co., Ltd. is the first listed company of in national construction industry recommended by the Ministry of Construction in China.
At present, the company owns over 100 member enterprises and over 120,000 employees, with its total assets up to 30 billion Yuan. As one of the 26 large enterprises that are specially cultivated by the People's Government of Zhejiang, it has been credited as “Leading Demonstration Enterprise of Transformation and Upgrading in Zhejiang” together by Zhejiang Provincial Administration for Industry & Commerce and Zhejiang Private Enterprises Development Association. In 2013, Guangsha Holding realized an annual output value of 90.7 billion Yuan, an annual pre-tax profit of 6 billion Yuan, and an increase of nearly 13.5%. The company ranked the tenth place in “Top 500 Private Enterprises in China”, the 150th place in “Top 500 Enterprises in China”, the seventh in “Top 100 Enterprises in Zhejiang”, and won the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Enterprise of Zhejiang in 2013.
Guangsha Holding actively participates in social public welfare and charity course to repay the society, such as building parks, colleges, hospitals; setting up charitable foundation; investing in Hope Primary Schools… In recent years, the accumulative contribution and investment of the company on social public course and charitable course has exceeded 1 billion Yuan; it was granted the title of “Excellent Enterprise Citizen in China” in three successive years of 2005, 2006 and 2007, and was the winner of “Zhejiang Social Responsibility Award” and “China Charity Outstanding Contribution Award”.

Several generations fought hard for decades. Since its foundation, Lou Zhongfu, Honorary Chairman, has led Guangsha employees to create a splendid Guangsha with the climbing spirit of defying any challenges and after hard fighting. In December 2011, the Board of Directors of Guangsha decided to appoint me as the Chairman of board of directors. In inheritance and innovation, I felt a heavy responsibility and glorious mission.
A philosopher once said that humans become great because of dream. And I want to say that enterprise becomes outstanding because of dream. Yesterday’s success is neither today’s success nor tomorrow’s success. “People with great talents must have a resonant voice; people with high aspirations must have a far sight”. Standing on a new starting point of overall improvement, transformation and upgrading, how shall we extend Guangsha’s cause?
