Brief introduction to Zhejiang Guangsha Mengshi(Fierce Lion) Basketball Club

Since its foundation in April 2005, Men’s basketball team of Zhejiang Guangsha Mengshi Basketball Club has ranked the second and the first respectively in 2005 and 2006 National Basketball League. It passed the access evaluation of Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) and became a full member of CBA in 2006.
Since Men’s basketball team of Zhejiang Guangsha Mengshi entered CBA, it has participated in matches of 7 seasons. Since the second season, the club basketball team has entered the playoffs in succession, and achieved an excellent performance of the 3rd prize, reaching a new height of Zhejiang basketball.
This year, the club has formed a coach team, comprised of Li Chunjiang, the Championship Coach, Li Xiaoyong, former National Champion and Wang Bo, Meritorious Man of Guangsha. In the team, there is Wang Zheng,216cm tall, Lin Zhijie, nicknamed the “Beast”, Zhang Yongpeng, Zhang Wei, who has been selected in the national team for several times, Wang Zirui, currently serving in National Youth Team, promising Su Ruoyu, Zhao Dapeng and Sun He’nan, et.al. New Guangsha men’s basketball team is a team that combines the old, the middle-aged and the young. They will fight in the next season for a higher goal.
